About
Us
The mission
of the Women’s Friendship Tour Association, Inc. is to gather spirited and dedicated women
martial artists from around the world to journey to karate’s birthplace,
Okinawa,
Japan, for training, cultural exchange, and
the preservation of a traditional martial art.
By introducing the power and dedication of women martial artists
globally, our common goal is to pave the way for a better tomorrow through
courtesy, peace and friendship. |

The
Women’s Friendship Tour Association,
Inc is a once-in-a-lifetime unique, historical and
unprecedented event.
The
Women’s Friendship Tour presently consists of 26 women representing 3
countries. Their intention however is to
expand the scope of the tour by providing financial assistance to women from across
the globe whom would otherwise be unable to
attend. This would result in additional representation from countries such as Slovenia,
Chili, Brazil, Croatia, Great Britain, Germany, France, Serbia, Greece, Venezuela,
Argentina, Netherlands, England
and Australia.
In
an act of friendship and goodwill, the Women’s Friendship Tour will if
authenticated in time be returning a priceless
cultural treasure to the Okinawan
people and prefecture: specifically a 350 year-old historic artifact
taken out of
This
will be the largest team of international women martial artists
ever to visit and train with master instructors from A Message From Peggy Hess (A Call To Friendship) Updates - pictures and information from Peggy's recent planning trip to Okinawa As preparation for this unique trip begins we have started to develop new friendships and participate in meetings, fund raisers and social activities that focus on this tour.
